While ANGRMS normally uses a steam train for its open days, operational requirements occasionally require the use of heritage diesels or other power. For example, Bundy #5 is currently (2012) out of service for repairs and heritage diesels will operate the trains until roughly September 2012.

ANGRMS locomotives, rolling stock and other facilities are occasionally used for film, television and multimedia productions. Potential clients must realise, however, that all tourist and heritage railways operate under state and national rail safety regulations, and some requests may not be feasible.

  • Passenger operations (normally a steam train) are on first and third Sundays of each month from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Woodford Lions Country Market also occurs on the third Sunday of each month.
  • Brisbane Bus Lines provide Sunday services to Woodford on their Brisbane-Murgon Service... arriving Woodford 9:35 am and returning 4:15 pm. Details.
  • ANGRMS member, Bill Blannin, has contributed 40 years worth of photos, memories of many events in ANGRMS' history.
  • Visit Storey Brook Cottage for tea, lunch or an overnight stay--located at the end of our line in Woodford.
