While ANGRMS normally uses a steam train for its open days, operational requirements occasionally require the use of heritage diesels or other power. For example, Bundy #5 is currently (2012) out of service for repairs and heritage diesels will operate the trains until roughly September 2012.

Welcome to ANGRMS and its services, including the Durundur Railway which we operate at Woodford, Queensland.

On the site you'll find a short profile of the Society, details of our open days, photographs and information on our collection, the latest news of Society activities, sales, bridal train and industry information, links to other sites of interest, and an open invitation for you to visit ANGRMS one Sunday at our steam site in Margaret Street, Woodford.

  • Passenger operations (normally a steam train) are on first and third Sundays of each month from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Woodford Lions Country Market also occurs on the third Sunday of each month.
  • Brisbane Bus Lines now provides Sunday services to Woodford on their Brisbane-Murgon Service... arriving Woodford 9:35 am and returning 4:15 pm. Details.
  • ANGRMS member, Bill Blannin, has contributed 40 years worth of photos, memories of many events in ANGRMS' history.
  • Visit Storey Brook Cottage for tea, lunch or an overnight stay--located at the end of our line in Woodford.
