- Originally supplied for the British War Department as a diesel locomotive, it was apparently purchased by Marian Mill, Mackay at a sale at Liphook, Hampshire in March 1957.
- This Planet locomotive worked on the navvies' trains at Marian Mill. At some time in its life at Marian Mill the diesel engine was removed and used in a tramline grasscutter and the petrol engine from a David Brown tractor was fitted instead.
- Finally the navvies' duties became too heavy and the distances to travel too far for this locomotive and it was retired, being donated to ANGRMS in 1983 when it was transported to Woodford.
- It is currently dismantled with a view to restoring it to working order.
